10:45 pm	Boo on school Almost done..... but not yet Otherwise, things are going well enough. I got a new guitar which is DEAD SEXY!!! Its an Oscar Schmidt OE30 which is basically a knockoff gibson ES-335 but in reality, its really an upstanding guitar on its own merits. Did i mention its sexy? There is a lan party on friday, to which i'm looking forward to as to flex my q3a muscles. It will be a good break from it all. As long as it doesn't become a leeching party, we'll be ok. Thanks in advance ot rico for the hosting. Also, Harry Potter 3 comes out that same day and most likely will see that after my 11am class. As i am a huge nerd, i've been looking forward to this movie for quite some time. So my friend Heather and I have been hanging out a lot at school and such as of lately, since the beginning of the quarter. She's really one of the reasons going to school isn't so unbearable. She's really great, but my ability to form complete sentences around her falls apart and i normally end up sound like a complete doofus. *sigh* Anyway, she probably doesn't even like me and i'm getting worked up over nothing. 12:35 am	Look at me, the busy bee Weekends are normally a time for me to sit on my ass and do..... nothing. But this weekend has turned out to be a lot more exciting than most. Yesterday, after my horrible, yet not so hard, midterm for thermodynamics... I dragged Chris and Grant up to westwood to visit gerald and chad waltz. The reason i went up was to pay gerry for the plane tickets he bought for us to go to Maryland for our friend's wedding. Anyway, grant and i brought up a conderable amount of beverages :) and we had a few drinks before chad got back from some school dinner. Then we all went out, in my dad's new car, and hung out at some bars in westwood. All in all, it was a very fun trip and we even got to see Chad passed out on the bed. Got home at 3-something and went to bed at 4 something Today, i tried sleep in but woke up at like 9. Did absolutely nothing productive and then played a game of LOTR risk at Chris' apartment which i ended up winning *waits for applause* Anywho, i'm kinda very tired and should get to bed sometime soon. I should say though, school is starting to worry me cause its all ending so quick. Somehow, i only have about a year left. Then life.... So how is my life going to turn out? we're just going to have ot wait and see. 3:15 am	boy, what an interesting evening So the day started out very normally, but after i got home from school, things got a little unusual. First, i went out to celebrate shiela's 20th birthday at what was originally going to be BJ's pizzaria, but we ended up at a place called "on the border" because BJ's had an hour wait. The food was good and we all had fun. I met a lot of people i did not know so that was kinda wierd, but in the end it was all good. After dinner, most of them went off swing dancing or whatever, but i headed home but before i got there, my friend grant (feng shui's drummer) calls me up and tells me to head over to TGIFridays in Anaheim Hills. As you know, Fridays is ALWAYS a good time and grant, his brother chad, me and about 12 other people who i also didn't know were celebrating someone (who i did not know)'s 21st birthday. We proceed on getting him piss drunk and he ended up yacking in the bathroom. I finally left at 1ish and on my way home, i took the long way, and pulling around the neighborhood, a good friend of mine was throwing a party. So of course at this time (i had some liquid courage in me) decide to crash it. I was welcomed (thank god) and so I hung out having more drinks and met more people i didn't know. It was a very fun night..... in all i met about 30 new people which is a rarity for me since i don't like to socialize with people. Anyway, being how its after 3am, i should go to bed. Master_D P.S. 3:36 pm	Live from Florida Hey, so i had my spring break in sunny Orlando, Florida. Went to MGM studios, Epcot Center, Kennedy Space Center and Busch Gardens. Got a little cold though so that kidna put a little damper on the festivities but its all good. So this next month will be pretty busy.... 3:31 am	Hey, look, its a post So we had band practice tonight and our drummer grant turned 21 at midnight. So we went to TGIFridays and got him piss drunk.... it was awesome So here's the rundown of current events. - Didn't go snowboarding with everyone due to shoulder injury - Beer is good - My DSL got upgraded to a blistering 6.0mbps/608kbps line (FUCK YEAH!) - David our original bassist left the band so Penboy will most likely fill in - Possible SKP/Feng Shui show April 19th.... This will be rad - Finals are creeping closer and closer - Had to rerun my 5hr lab due to broken glassware (grrrr) - Beer is good - Car radio broke but is now fixed (stupid Caliber Motors!) - 3:37am and still up - I promise to actually post more (not likely) - Beer is good I guess its time for bed Master_D (Comment on this)

1:13 am	On the Top Shelf My guitar teacher has been hounding me to go to one of this shows and so i finally went tonight...... WOW!!!! They fucking kick ass. They play at the Back Alley bar in Fullerton every monday from 10:30 till 1am. If you like funk music at all, you should check them out. So besides that, i've been totally obsessed with the Maroon 5 album "Songs about Jane" . We heard it at the Moneen show between sets and finally found out what band the cd was from. 10:33 pm	Ouch So, i think my snowboarding days will become a thing of the past. So i fucked up my shoulder again last saturday and well, i don't think I can take much more of this. I mean, the pain isn't that bad, but everytime it happens, my parents become more and more untrustworty of my judgement. I know i really shouldn't care, but its something that kinda irks me. Anyway, i've decided to at least take a temporary hiatus from snowboarding. Words just kinda fall out of my mouth without any thought taking place. I guess i'm just on autopilot. Anyway, my lab partners and i recently got into a very intriguing coversation that kinda made me think. As anyone in any specialized field would know, there are certain things that one experiences that you know no one else will ever quite fully understand. For example, in my chem lab, we put dry ice into acetone to get a liquid that is really really cold ( -78 degrees C ) My friend Erica told me how she tries to explain how neat this process is to other people and how those people just give her wierd looks. I dunno really what i'm babbling about, but it just kinda made me think of how, as a chemist, i get to experience so much cool (wierd) shit that non-chemistry people would just never experience. I guess that goes for all other fields and in some way kinda makes me not want to specialize but to learn something about everything. Anyway, i guess i'm done wasting everyone's time. 4:27 pm	Rock on Our show at Chain Reaction last night was pretty horrible in the sense that the acoustics of that place are horrid, but, everyone that came had fun..... except for my friend Chad Waltz who is missing half his front tooth. All in all, i still had a great time as i absolutely love being on stage. Its a pretty undescribable feeling, but all i know is that it makes me feel good. Plus the fact that i'm really proud of my band, even though i've only been a part of it for a few months. Afterwards, we went out to TGIFridays which in the only place open after the city of Anaheim Hills dies at 9:30pm. Surprisingly enough, i met an old friend of mine Rachelle who i've not seen in like 6 years. Being the sly bastard i am, i got her phone number :) Then we shot some pool at penboy's place. 10:19 pm	Its over So, no more school for a month :) Went snowboarding today which was great. We (me adam chris and mike) had a lot of fun. No one got hurt either :) Otherwise i'm pretty tired...... and not just physically. :-\ Oh, also, there was a house about a 1/4 mile from here that was on fire. 10:38 pm	Down the home stretch With only 2 more weeks of school, things are starting to pile up.... and being the person i am, i'm about to collapse under all the work. At least i get to go snowboarding tomorrow and i finished my quantum mechanics homework today. I went to a wedding today and met the 4 blondest asians girls ever. They were really talkative and we had a good time. The girl that got married was the daughter of my mom's closest friend so i kinda had to go. Our first show was last night and i feel that it went rather well We got a lot of positive feedback from everyone. :) Hopefully we'll get to play some more gigs cause i really enjoy being up on stage. It's just something i've never really experienced before. I mean, i've played in front of people before but nothing like this. Maybe next time i won't be so unprepared :) Anyway, i have a killer Quantum Mechanics midterm tomorrow to study for and class to attend in a few hours. 1:46 pm	Pray for snow! ****AROUND THE CLOCK SNOWMAKING IS ON - BEAR COULD OPEN FRIDAY! >> Snowmaking began again at 10 pm Sunday night and continues around the clock. Bear Mountain will open as early as Friday if the roads are reopened to the public! Regardless of when we are able to open we will continue snowmaking and simply be able to offer more terrain when raods are reopened! ******* DUDE!!!! possible snowboarding action this week...
